The ™LAMCO Varmint Proof Corn Feeder uses the same design as the patented LAMCO pellet feeder. Two models are available; a 350 lb. capacity and a 500 lb. capacity. The motor unit and spinner plate are enclosed in heavy gauge galvanized steel; with the wires for the solar panel enclosed in conduit pipe. This makes the corn feeder absolutely varmint proof, therefore, there is no need for long legs. The feeder is only 6 l/2 feet from ground level to the top of the feeder.
The unit has two slits on either side that are lined up with the spinner plate. When the motor spins the corn is thrown through these slits. The corn that hits the other two side walls slides out onto the ground around the feeder.
Both models can be moved easily by laying them in the back of a pickup.
